  • 0:45 we are bit too high... Yoink.. 1:03 braking haaaaaard.

  • @Batedor3D does this german jacdec call el al the safest?

  • As a frequent visitor to Madeira I think that is incorrect. It looks a very normal landing. This runway is nearly 2,800 long and the plane touched down between a quarter and a third of the way down (you can't even see the 1,000m extension in this video) so the pilot had at least 1800m. 200m more than the original runway length before the extension.

  • Vídeo e pouso TAP excelente. Portugal-Madeira parabens! Saudações do Brasil. Valeu!

  • I would like to see the brake temp :D

  • Mais que pouso perfeito parabéns ao piloto da TAP! Breno, São Paulo, Brasil!

  • @MyPilot747

The only dumbass around here is probably you by not knowing that according to the German JACDEC, TAP was actually considered the 4th safest airline in the world.

more, LPMA or for non aviation MADEIRA is considered one of the 13 most dangerous airports in the world. Winds are reported at 3 points of the runway. with very severe crosswinds due to local geography.

Come here and have a taste for your self...u might jizz ur pants.

  • Jup heared about it, still it's a nice runway to land on :)

  • @jimhoogerhout they extended it, but they now they have a new problem: wind vortex

  • @aviationchannel2010 for safety rules its in the minimums, :) when its wet its to short !
