A boutique hotel by Karisma, the all-inclusive Azul Beach Resort is situated on a private beach at Bahia Petempich in Puerto Morelos. With Playa del Carmen close by, this beachfront hotel beckons singles, couples and vacationing families to enjoy the sun, sand and surf.

This cozy hotels white buildings are an architectural blend of modern and native styles set amid pools and lush gardens. Suites, superior and deluxe rooms offer space and comfort for both families and couples, and all come with a balcony or terrace overlooking gardens or the Caribbean. One king-size bed or two double beds, floor tiles in soft coral shades, wood furniture and white fabrics give rooms a relaxed and inviting ambience. Roomy baths feature twin vanities and a glass enclosed shower cubicle with special rain showers. The Azul Suite contains a mosaic tile bathroom with a rainforest shower and a Jacuzzi.

Guests can enjoy an eclectic menu of worldly cuisines at the Blue Restaurant, which provides six menus, including vegetarian and low-carb options. Blue Terrace offers seafood and grilled meats outdoors under a thatched roof, while Tainan is known for its sushi, sashimi and wok specialties. Chil serves a la carte fusion of Mexican and Caribbean fare, Agavero Tequila Lounge offers a taste of more than 30 of Mexicos renowned tequilas, and La Mancha Energy Bar serves sandwiches, snacks and exotic fruit juices and smoothies. A swim-up bar, Aquanox, features hanging beds where you can enjoy exotic cocktails and provides live entertainment at night.

Activities include water sports, like kayaking, snorkeling and scuba diving, in addition to yoga and dance and cooking classes. After a day drenched in the sun at the beach or by the pool, guests can luxuriate in the resorts spa with facials, massages and exotic body treatments. At night, the hotel comes alive with live music, comedy, dance, cultural shows and beach parties. The Azulito Kids Club keeps children happily engaged during the day.
