The kid isn't scared at all. He is wondering how come children like Frost can travel without their parents, while the kid has to go with his own everywhere.

Frost looks typically focused, concentrating on some blackmetallish thought. Perhaps he is trying to figure out a way of speeding up the blast-beat. 500 bpm just isn't quick enough anymore. He won't be happy until the drums start sounding like a continuous blur. Like a washing machine perhaps.
