Speak Out (Season 4 Episode 1)
Hapas are the living, breathing physical embodiment of cross-culturalism. They enjoy a blend of both worlds. But it's not that easy.
Some, including Filipinos are confused by their outward ambiguity. "What are you?" people always ask. There's more to that question than meets the eye.

  • @Autoctonal In Latin America, mainly Mexico, the majority of the Telenovela actors are white-mestizos.

Mestizo in Mexico means ones is mix regardless of amount.

    Mestizos could be white,tan,and brown.

  • @CharlesFotos - that u were just a normal person u shouldnt be proud,

  • @CharlesFotos wow, what do think this video was about, to talk about hapas so people could hate them, if we were all the same could you amagine how boring it would be, being a hapa dosnt make me divided from a group, its what makes me, me... do you see somone beat a world record and say " hes still not special" or somone survive a disease and say" hes normal just like anyone else " no and its the same with hapas, how would u feel if u did somthing you were proud of and someone said-

  • lol the Philippines is the Mexico of Asia

  • @pinaypk @pinaypk What you said is true. My grandfather is from Piddig, Ilocos Norte to Hawaii in the early 1900s. He lied about his age to come into the country to work. He looked truly native. He once told me that he had sibblings light hair, hazel eyes and light skin. He said that even he was hapa spanish/Ilocano. Then he married a lady of Puerto Rican Parents. That brought Spanish, French, American Indian (Taino) and Black into the mix. So my mom and her sibblings are multimationals.

  • I'm half black and growing up I was always asked "What you is?"

Then after that "Who black, yo momma or ya daddy?" I'm like "You already know the answer to that" I'd say about 98% of half Filipinos have a Filipino mother.

PS: Why are Asians always trying to recreate American music?

  • WHATEVER, WE CREATE THESE BOUNDARIES TO OURSELVES AND MAKES US MORE DIVIDED, who cares if you are half or full. make a difference in people's lives, race should not matter

  • LOL. Wala ako pakialam tungkol sa mga half Filipino. Kalahating Pilipina lola ko. Kalahating Espanyol great-great lolo ko. Tandaan nyo mga to: Maganda/Gwapo talaga mga half Filipino. Pero yung mali sa akin: I don't like interracial relationships. haha. ewan.
