Vintage HO Scale Layout

In Quinnsville, a bustling suburb of Dadsberg, we struggle against the forces of the "dark side" - both foreign and domestic. The key to Quinnsville has always been the train station. If you control the train station, you control Quinnsville. The Roman's knew it, the Carthaginian's knew it, now you know it. I found my old train set when we helped my mother move out of her house and built a 6x8 layout that we can raise up to the ceiling. Static camera was a Sony fx7 ... filmed mostly in high speed. Although it cannot be termed as "hi-def", I truly enjoy that feature of this camera. This project turned into more of a study in ambient audio for me than anything else ... but blowing stuff up is always cool. I did not want to cloud the audio with a "soundtrack" ... the rails did that for us.

explosion effects = black gun powder. the whole cellar was filled with smoke after that one. we got in trouble from mom.

Hey, awesome video. I too have a slot car track with my ho layout, two crossings and an rc tank and helicopter. My two sons and myself are having a riot building and playing. Excellent movie, keep up the good work.
