@Lejnus No, you're not wrong. The opening at the bottom of this brouilleur is too wide, and the water pours out too fast. The flow of water should either be a very thin stream, or a fast drip.

looks incredible, but from what ive gathered you are supposed to let it drip very slowly over the sugar. preferably ice cold water. am i wrong?
