Dedicated to my brother Tony for our time spent together solving.

Now for the hard part the puzzle mode. You must help Charlie to solve 60 of the most challenging puzzles, since the days of Lolo. These aren't the only solutions, but I try to stick with one bomb at a time to make it less confusing, to the beginner player. Although both the digital and analog directional control will work when playing this game and they both have the same effects, I recommend the digital, it's better for the 'stopping and turning', to avoid pushing a bomb when turning, come to a complete stop before turning. I also recommend that you play with the Rumble Pak for the full experience of the game. There's nothing like the feeling, that you think you've solved a puzzle and accidently misplaced one bomb and you get blown to bits. It's enough to make you anxious cautious and begin to sweat. To me the graphic are a bit like the old Road Runner cartoons, with the same since of danger that you always seemed to feel for the Coyote when he's about to blown up, fall off a cliff or get flattened by something heavy. While games such as 'Adventures of Lolo' are relatively safe, this game is more in the style of the old 'Bomb Squad' game from Intellivision, where one mistake might get you blasted.

Charlie Blast's Territory, Part 01. Puzzle Mode, Solutions, Levels 1-10: Introduction.

I use my own names for some bombs, I also dislike the Detonator, and Auto Detonator, and use the words Fuse Bomb and Time Bomb to discribe these. I try to solve each puzzle with the fewest steps, in some instances there seems to be a cheat type way to do the same puzzle with fewer moves, or less time, and at these moments I've tried to give both solutions if they seemed different enough. On Level 7, I give two verions of the solution, the fist has fewer moves, but requires you to be poked by the spike and loose time, in the second solution you don't get poked and you finish with more time, however it requires more moves. Notice that on level 10, I use the jumping on the spike trick, it allows you to walk in the air over the spike if you land on it's tip when it is all the way extended. In every puzzle when the timer reaches twenty seconds remaining an alarm will sound, and when the timer reaches 10 the numbers will begin blinking. The next trick takes a bit of practice, bouncing across TNT crates or even blocks, to land in the space that the Fuse Bomb originally was. The Fuse bomb explodes a few seconds before the that part of the island is destroyed, so it's sometimes interesting to try and land on this space just after the bomb explodes but before the island section disappears. I was once able to do on a level with a trampoline and land on the water, after the island had been blown up, but since then I haven't been able to duplicate that moment, so sadly I can't reproduce it here, it could have been just a glitch however since I still haven't been able to do it again.
