you'd probably have to pull out every so often and break all the concrete out so as the finished core didnt end up so heavy it'd destroy the core drill on removal

@refamagroup You can anchor rollers around the bottom and sides of your bit to keep it in line while you start the drilling, after its started it pretty much stays in line. Most important to make sure you start the hole level! any angle depending on how deep will make your job a nightmare! To get the core out we would measure the wall thickness and drill to within 1/2 " of breaking through then pull out, break out core with sledge and wedge, attach eye bolt to middle of core and backhoeerout!
