PART 1!
FIVE TRIBUTES IN ONE VIDEO!

Unlike some of these "Top Ten Villains" videos flying around the internet in which the results seem completely random, uninspired and biased, I've tried my absolute best to create a well-rounded and authentic top-ten based on:

1. Achievements/Successes
2. Personality
3. Power
4. Importance to Storyline
5. Influence or Control of Other Characters
6. Magnitude/Presence of Character
7. Any Unique Features or Traits
8. Ambitions
9. Longivity of Villain Career
...and other factors...

I've even taken the liberty and time to create thorough tributes to each of the contestants.

SPOILER WARNING!

#6 Lord Voldemort- Possibly the most ominous and mysterious villain in popular literature.

#7 King Ghidorah- Godzilla's Arch-nemesis; "KING OF TERROR"; Introduced as "MONSTER: ZERO" (uncategorized); Destroyed the Martian and Venusian Civilizations; Controls Other Enemy Monsters

#8 Lord Darkseid- Greatest Adversary of Superman; Claims to Have Conquered Much of the Cosmos

#9 Chairman Wesker- The Chairman of Umbrella Incorporated; The Grand Mastermind Behind the Very Evil of Resident Evil

#10 Unicron- Grand Enemy of Cybertron & the Transformers; Devoured Many Planets; Controlled Megatron/Galvatron; Appears Only in Transformers: The Movie (1986)

REMEMBER: An emphasis on ARCH villains, not sub-villains like, for example, Darth Vader, Cell, or Gigan.

  • what about Quan Chi from mortal kombat? he was planning to betray shang tsung to become emperor of all the realms, he is smart enough to hire Sub Zero, and scorpion to kill sub zero. he even made a decoy of the amulent, and kept the real one. he killed a god, he never keeps his promises, he even black mails mostly everyone

  • That's something I might actually disagree with. Shao Kahn and possibly Shinnok were over-arching villains. Quan Chi is actually a perfect example of a powerful sub-villain.

    ^__^

  • huh, never thought of that. lol

  • Haha. I'm glad I got to hear from you though. Villains are my point-of-interest. ^_^

  • Perfect list so far, I'm checking out part 2 right now... (5 stars from me)

  • LOL! Thanks! I'm not entirely happy with my list but I know I tried my best at the time ^__^

  • Darkseid should be the number 1. Read Final Crisis. He is the God of Evil

  • Voldemort is like Hitler in the book.

  • king ghidorah should have been higher death ghidorah grand ghidorah kaizer ghidorah destroyer of worlds

  • shit the unicron should have been number five at least. That thing is the destroyer of worlds....helllllo.

  • Voldemort's hardly that great, I mean come on he can't beat a small bigoted wizarding society with his army of wizards, giants, werewolves, dementors and vampires.

Not to mention he's stupid enough to think he can wipe out all muggles when they outnumber wizards by millions. He's weak and stupid throughout the series, and he's portrayed even worse in the films.

The only times Voldermort's any kind of good villain is in fanfiction, which often is written much better than the original books

  • hey give me a brake

    unicron is physically the strongest

  • any chance for top ten over-heroic heroes? It be great

  • @Duanaces YEAH! And he was the first FF bad guy!

  • @bilosex123 rather than being from a single movie, book, or game, it means they span the entire series

  • Long live the Dark Lord!

  • great vid , what does over arching mean?

  • Does anyone know what's the track that plays during Darkseid?
