What I'm saying is that while video game addictions are extremely egregious, there are bigger issues though. Give the kids who have problems help, but don't make such a big deal out of it. I know that there has to be bigger issues than this. Not many kids are addicted to video games to this extent, but some do spend shocking numbers of hours on them (but that's not really an addiction). I like video games a lot, but I am far from addicted. I have a life.

Okay maybe soccer was a bad example, or any sport for that matter. What I was trying to explain, though, was that people can be addicted to other things like sex or something and that's not a big problem (at least not anywhere that I've researched). I'm not saying video game addiction isn't bad because it is. So many illnesses come from being immobile for so many hours a day, like blood clots. (continued)
If someone is addicted to ,say, soccer, everyone will be all "Good, good. Soccer's awesome." But the first time someone sits in front of a Tv screen for a few hours it's somehow "Woah, we have a problem here."
