STORY
(I've changed Morgana's name to Jules Morgan in Storybrooke since all the characters have different names there, keep that in mind to avoid the confusion; and pardon my probably crappy English and the length of this story)
There was a time when Graham and Jules Morgan knew one another as the Huntsman and Morgana. That, of course, was before the Curse fell and they became strangers in Storybrooke. Sure their paths crossed a couple of times, but their interactions were never long enough to make them even friends.

Naturally it catches both of them by surprise when they start seeing dreams featuring each other. Dreams what seem to be coming from another life. Those dreams have a strange effect on their non-existent relationship -- every time they meet there is that weird tension between them which makes it rather obvious that odd dreams visit them both and aren't just a product of their imagination. Eventually Graham comes to Jules' house, and though she isn't happy with him insisting that their shared dreams mean something, she can't deny she sees them, too. (that was up to 0:15)

That's how their Storybrooke relationship, friendly at first, begins. However, Graham didn't know that Jules had planned on leaving Storybrooke when they started to build their bond. At the last minute he asks her not to leave. By that time Jules knows that no matter how much it hurts her to stay in a place where she feels so miserable, she will never find courage to leave Graham behind when he begs her not to. He stays at her place and tells her about his fears. Somehow Jules seems to be the only person he's able to feel something for lately. (up to 0:24, quotes come with this part)

When morning comes and Jules watches Graham leave, she starts remembering little pieces of her old and real life. The closer Graham and Jules get, the more they remember. Soon enough the line between two lives becomes so thin it's almost impossible to tell the difference between them. (my excuse for constantly mixing moments from 0:32 ^^')

Once upon a time in the long lost life the Evil Queen sent her guards to kill Morgana, because she knew that young woman was a witch and could grow powerful enough to challenge and defeat her one day. Her vassals had no luck, though, so she sent the Huntsman later to hunt the girl down. And he did; only he never killed her. Once he saw utterly terrified and seemingly fragile Morgana in the woods, he helped her hide instead and hid with her. For some time all was well in paradise -- they became alliances and maybe, just maybe fell for one another, even though they didn't admit it. Then the Queen found their hiding place and dragged them to her castle, defeating Morgana in the process. That made her think that Morgana's powers weren't as strong as she originally expected and instead of killing her, she ripped Huntsman's heart out in front of Morgana and sent them to Camelot. At first it seemed like a lifetime of suffering laid ahead of them, but one day Huntsman realized that feelings were coming back. The Evil Queen might have had his life in her very hands, but his soul and affections still belonged to him.

When Regina understands that in Storybrooke, she grinds man's heart to powder, leaving him dying in his newfound love's arms. What she doesn't comprehend is that it fully awakes Jules/Morgana, making her more powerful witch when she ever was back in the fairytale land.
