In the year 2010 more than 500 solders have died in Afghanistan. Miss Taiba Rahim has constructed some schools in Afghanistan. The reporter asks if she lives peacefully for just one day in Afghanistan.

Taiba Rahim: I was 11 years old when the war started in Afghanistan. I remember that my father used to work very hard to feed us and bring out our family from poverty. He gave us primary education. Education is the only way to decrease the rate of poverty.

Today 80% of afghans are uneducated not just the women but also the men. My father had to leave his village to give a perspective education and good life to his 9 children.

Peace for the people of Afghanistan is a wish and dream, security and the only way to get education.

Reporter: So the afghans can not solve the problem themselves.

Taiba Rahim: The problems are of afghans so we must find solutions for these problems.

Reporter: So should they talk with the Taliban or no because they are extremists and criminals?

Taiba Rahim: We must talk with the Taliban because they created the problems and the war. I know that nobody is ready to talk with the Taliban

Reporter: So you are going to reconstruct more schools so are you going to meet Taliban? And will they say yes? Taliban don’t allow the girls to go to schools.

Taiba Rahim: The place where I will build schools there are no Taliban, It’s in the north of Ghazni in the mountains but generally there are some who always threaten. But we should always resist against them and make ideas for education. Millions of people must get education.

Repoterter: So the three schools that you have made how many students are there?

Taiba Rahim: 3 thousand students go there and they are girls and boys with co-education. From 76 different regions the students come. There houses are far away, most of them walk about 2 hours to arrive at school.

Reporter: So how do you do? You collect money here in Swiss and from Europe and bring them in work there.

Taiba Rahim: I am really proud to tell you that since some years I am making some schools and being an afghan it is my responsibility. I have made an association here, and tell my projects to different enterprises and the minister approves it. So I am proud to work with afghans for afghans.

Reporter: So women are the future of Afghanistan?

Taiba Rahim: yes I believe very deeply not just the women but also men. We men and women can rebuild our country
