Pure Imagination - Piano Cover Improvised & By Ear

This is not at all intended to be a truthful note for note rendering of the original Gene Wilder song from "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". I consider this type of improvisation a sort of musical "impressionism" in which the piece is based on impressions from playing by ear.

I heard this song on a commercial during the series finale of lost and found it moving. I downloaded a couple of jazz piano versions. It really is a great musical piece. I transposed it down a half step.
