  • Beautifully put. I think David has a mission to spread love and hope with his singing. He has captured the hearts of America and the UK. Let him loose on our troubled world. I think it was part of God's plan that he didn't win. It fits with his humility that David Cook won, because his glory will be relatively short-lived, whereas David A will go on for ever.

  • It is impossible to sing a Beatles song better than they did--until now.The Beatles were the greatest group of the 20th century, This was their last # 1 song and one of their best. David Archuleta, born 20 years after they broke up, sings this anthem as well as , if not better, than the Beatles. This is an unprecedented achievement. He completely captures the meaning of the song and sings it with depth and beauty. I can't take much more of this David. You're just too good.

  • @williwo Wrong

  • Good version.......but the Beatles one is better. I dont think its possible to top that version

  • beatles is better...but his version is good too

  • Not a big fan of Idol, but I have to admit this is one of the great Beatles covers. He does justice to a great song. He actually did an even better job on the live show.

  • @bidohoia What....Maybe He Is In A Studio...Or Wherever He Might Sound Better...But The Beatles Wrote The Wrotes...And It Sounds Like He Is Trying To Sound Like Paul...They Wrote The Music And Everything...You Shouldn't Give The Freaking Credit To Him...Because He Would Never Write A Song With This Much Impact Even If He Has A Million Life Times.

  • @BritneyLover0143 Not His Song. The Beatles.

  • I love his version of this song.

  • <3 I'm gettin' addicted on david song

  • Actually Daughtry has made it in the music industry more than david cook. I agree with hstolte that David Archuleta has unique voice and great voice that you don't find often. The Beatles came up with good song like this one. I love David's voice. David Archuleta has his 3rd album out, The Other Side of Down. great songs, buy some and give as gifts.
