Fabio Capello goal for Italy - World Cup 1974

Fabio Capello played for Italy in the 1974 World Cup. He scored Italy's goal in the 1-2 defeat against Poland in the first round. Other Italian players in this failed Azzurri 1974 campaign (The Italians didn't reach the 2nd round) included Fachetti, Riva, Rivera and Mazzola from the 1970 team; and Zoff, Causio, Benetti from the 1978 team.
Capello played 32 games for Italy from 1972 to 1976, scoring 8 goals, including 2 goals against England!
Capello played in midfield and had a very successful playing career with Juventus, Milan and Roma.

@mcross15 why should he?even after his goal Italy was still losing in a match they needed to draw in order to progress to the next round so this goal by in and of itself meant nothing if Italy did not get a second one which they did not.
