modern wars are won or lost by aircrafts, not special forces. If im a defence minister i find it a waste of time sending my men down there.

LOL... may i know where are you from? Almost Every country sends its best soldiers to take part in this camp, even US SEALs And French Foreign Legion are training in this camp and you're saying its useless? Modern warfare is not only about Air power dude, even 3D is out-dated today... 21th century Modern warfare is combination of Air, Land, Sea and Outer space... its called 4D... however, above all of these, Army is always the key role in any war...
