Troy A. Gentzler, 44, of Lawrence, KS, passed away April 25, 2009. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Bikers Against Child Abuse, Northeast Kansas Chapter, PO Box 19186, Topeka, KS, 66619. Troy loved riding his Harley, and was very actively involved in Bikers Against Child Abuse. He was a maintenance engineer employed by Faultless Starch. He was a member and president of Second Flight Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his daughter, Tamara Gentzler, and her mother, Dorothy, parents, Duane and Alberta Gentzler, brother and sister in law, Kevin and Tricia Gentzler, their children, Jordan and Justin, companion, Tammy Krewson, 3 step children, and 8 step grandchildren.
Troy Gentzler was a good man. He recently started a new life for himself and seemed to be truly happy. It's unfortunate what happened to him.
It's also unfortunate that the life insurance that he left to his young daughter was stolen from her by his greedy, mentally ill, drunken ex-wife.
