1969 Mexican 1000 Datsun 510

Bob Lyon enjoying some seat time in the 1969 Mexican 1000 Datsun 510 during the 2010 Walter MItty at Road Atlanta. Mr. Lyon and Pete Brock finished 4th at that race. Note the hole in the hood; it was cut to allow the broken strut more travel. It was coming into contact with the underside of the hood during the race.

I was at the 69 Mexican 1000.

Im from San Diego and remember it well.

I think I remember this car.

but not clearly.

it was with alot of other's.
