Okay, this is my little pet project; getting the Arduino to be the clocking centre of my modular synth.
The idea is to have this either as a computer-controlled divider run by your DAW (I plan to port this software fully into MaxForLive when that drops) OR as a standalone unit with set/reset jacks right on the panel.

For the really nerdy nerds out there: I may even do this as an Arduino-Mega setup with the odd subdivisions as well as standard 1-16 sequencing outs... If I do I'll probably do a few panels and sell a couple, if there's interest.
This is just my little proof of concept, but I hope you enjoy!

  • now you send MIDI to arduino from live.. and use it to control you modular.. and forget cv converters

  • actually I use a MOTU for my cv - it's fantastic, and much faster and higher-res than anything I could do with the arduino. But for fancy gates and triggers; arduino is my friend :-)
