only if your bad at tensioning. given that most old type A users are beginners, i guess it would pop a lot for them. but it you watch something like monkeydude1313's video on how to assemble and tensino your cube, then you oughta be fine. however, it really isn't the best cube in the world.

the letter 'A' specifies the type of DIY rubik's cube.
there are type A, B, C, D, E, F.
ppl say that A is the best, or D
