“Let’s Help to Keep The Skies Blue” seems like a completely unjustified statement given the fact that “In 2010, the flaring – or burning off – of natural gas in [Shell’s] Upstream business rose by 32% compared to 2009, to 10.3 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent” (Shell sustainability report 2010, P.29), contributing to Shell’s overall emission of around 75 million tonnes of greenhouse gasses in 2010 (Shell 2010).

Brazil's vehicle emission pollution has been cut by more than half in past 20 years... using ethanol on cars and bio diesel on trucks and buses... If you ever lived there you would have known what difference that has made.. Also worth mentioning, this commercial filmed on Ipanema Beach, acurately depicting the beautiful life loving people of Rio de Janeiro...
