Thomas Diet is a program that uses anywhere from 800-1200 cal. a day.
You have to eat every two hours.
It's as simple as that. Eat anything just don't go over a 1000 cal. a day.
Try to keep the meals around 160 cal.

    Now I took my little brothers account that he don't use but thanks this diet works and it's now a diet it's a lifestyle change!! Not just cuz u lost 20 to60 pounds means u can go back to the way you were I eat outside food every month once a month then eating healthy!!!!

  • Should a teenager follow this diet? My answer to this is yes and no. The yes part is eating healthy. You should eat every two hours your fruits and veggies and yes your meals should be smaller. I would keep the calories around 2,000 for a teenager who is trying to lose weight. Stay away from fast food. Excercise on a normal basis. You should consult a doctor.

    If you want to maintain your thin appearance, you should probably aim for 4 meals spread throughout the day with about 700-800 calories, that sounds like a good number for someone like you. But 500 and less , you will keep losing fat, and then after you burn the fat off, your body will go to the muscle tissue, which is something you DO NOT want.

    in fact I am anorexic and I don't eat 500 cals a day I actually eat less and sometimes I don't eat at all

    That is far too few calories, you will become anorexic with a diet like that long-term. Now if you're trying to lose weight rapidly, it would work BUT 500 is very steep. I was getting 300-400 a day when i was very depressed last year, and in 3-4 weeks I lost like 25-30 pounds, but this is not a healthy way to lose weight, you need to gradually get to your goal. Taking shortcuts can cause problems as well. But yeah, 800 - 1000 is a decent amount, and drink plenty of water.

  • This works because you are feeding frequent small amounts of food into your body and that stimulates your metabolism, also, 1000 calories a day is at a level where you can burn excess total calories in a day, which means your body will go into its fat stores for required energy (fat is stored energy), thus losing weight. Dont over do it though, or it becomes an eating disorder obviously.

  • nd 2. i have been exercising for about 1 hr and a half a day is that necessary and or speeds up the weight loss. it would be of great help if u could aid me because watching your videos inspire me to be healthy

  • hey my name is ryan and i live in florida. i am 245 pounds 5'8" and i would like to get down to about 185. so i decided to do the diet. today is the completion of week one of your diet and i have been eating canned greenbeans and chicken/tuna 5 times a day for about a week now but unfortunately today i have cheated on the diet. i want to know two things if u may, 1. do you think it will be possible for me to lose 20 pounds in 10 days as you did sir as i restart your diet. a
