What part of their friendship did you miss?
After Patti ditched E.C., he and George went on tour to Japan. Even while Clapton was married to Patti, he and George played togeter and stayed in contact.

with envy about John Lennon. But George Harrison? LOL My god,
that would be like being jealous of a cheeseburger....with a bag of

Pfft! George misleads the audience. Only 1 newspaper
(1 writer), made a reference that George was acting like
"Howard Hughes". However, the writer was commenting
on George's purchase of the 120-bedroom mansion Friar
Park AND his 2nd estate on the Hawaiian coast. He was
NOT talking about George being reclusive! George shut
down access to the ocean for miles because he wanted
"his privacy". His native Hawaiian neighbors promptly
sued him. Some of them didn't KNOW who he was or
cared!
