  • @artsevere It's wonderful she won a Daniel Pearl Award! Hopefully she will get "him" back!

  • @kotterpike714 "Danny" is the name she gave the fiddle because of the Daniel Pearl Award Ruby received in 2007 as the best young fiddle player in the U.S., Daniel Pearl was a journalist (also a fiddle player) killed by terrorists several years ago. I saw Ruby last night, she was using what she calls an "old fiddle" she's had for many years, frankly, she sounded just as great as always, if not better. She's such a phenomenal fiddle player I guess it doesn't matter. But she wants Danny back.

  • @artsevere I heard about it. It's terrible. Amazing coincidence though that her fiddle's name is my name and I shot and posted this video. Weird.

  • "Sweet Tangerine" co-written by Ruby Jane and Max Frost, "The Infernal Triangle" (instrumental) co-written by Ruby Jane and lead guitarist Trevor LaBonte. The fiddle Ruby is playing, "Danny", is the fiddle stolen in a carjacking in Houston on 12-8-2011 (along with all of her other musical equipment) and is still missing, unfortunately.
