An activist is arrested after an alleged altercation with a local journalist.

On April 2nd in Oakland, CA, Federal Agents raided Oaksterdam University, a school which teaches students how to grow marijuana (founded by activist Richard Lee in 2007).

A large crowd of cannabis activists gathered to protest the raid, and one local business owner complained to me about the choice to use law enforcement resources on this (and Occupy Oakland), when so much violent crime is going unchecked in Oakland.

The DEA, US Marshals, IRS, and Oakland PD all took part in the raid.
