Thriving Inks whole mission is to foster creativity, even if your only canvas is your closet. So were especially excited to launch a weekly video blog series in which stylist Michaela Bammer puts together a different look—for both guys and gals.
GIRL AT THE ROCK SHOW
THE INSPIRATION:
The high-waisted black linen miniskirt is showing up on celebs everywhere. Its a daunting piece, especially with winter around the corner and thigh-high boots on the rise. But pairing it with a cool tee (shown here with Thriving Inks Mix Tape and The Fifth) makes it seem effortless. Here stylist Michaela Bammer shows us how to avoid looking skanky and keep the look relaxed and edgy—in two distinct ways that suit different styles and bodies, both concert-ready.
For hair and makeup, Michaela was inspired by the Sienna Millers tousled waves and Rachel Bilsons smokey eyeliner.
THE PIECES:
Look 1- Thriving Ink Mix Tape tee (womens), fitted leather jacket, black linen miniskirt, sleek boots, thin draped belt, snakeskin clutch, fedora
Look 2- Thriving Ink The Fifth tee (mens), fitted leather jacket, black linen miniskirt, Converse low-top Chuck Taylors, lightweight skinny scarf, slouchy beanie, wristlet clutch
