Their language is closer to Kashgar Uyghur dialect than Uzbek spoken in Uzbekistan. If I just listen to the lyrics I would think he was an Uyghur from Kashgar, but the music is different. I am glad that their culture and language survived. I am glad they fought the Taliban as part of the northen alliance. Otherwise the savages might have destroyed their heritage. Great performance.
