Hey I had those, but after a few hundred flights the aluminum threads wore out. (also, those are very easy to drop/lose on the ground). Then I used some nylon thumb screws, but they broke with shaft inside. Finally, spent the $5 to buy the ball lock pin type. Have used them for over 2,000 flights.
canopy locks is something i have never heard of b4 i have a compass 6hv helicopter that crash because the canopy move and was hitting one of the linkage while it was about 50-100 feet up-so i think some kind of canopy lock is a good ideal
