Robert Morrissey: Author of " Master Lighting Guide to Commercial Photography" gives photographic tutorial on simple and easy - how to photograph a ring without using anything but the sun - great for non-professional photographers
Thanks so much! I have some jewelry to sell on ebay and I wanted to take some professional pictures at home to sell them. This has helped me a lot. Thanks
You are a genius. I purchased your book "Master Lighting Guide for Commercial Photographers". This is hands down the best lighting book I've ever seen. I love how you have diagrams showing the position of the lights as well as a photo of the subject so you can see how the lights affect the subject. You are the MAN! Thank you for the videos. You got a new fan.
Thanks. I have been snowed in my farm here in Scotland. Finding your video great intersting and great for getting me started with my new ebay clothes line site. ta very much dawn richardson murray
Thank you for this, I just used your ideas for a bunch of my best rings that I have made this year, and your technique makes such a professional display. Seriously thank you.
Pro Shot at the end is not so good, as you can see the metal is like toilet room object, reflections are bad... I think paper shot is great reminds like real physical cg lightning, nice done.
The trick is to create unnatural because the human eye can see on subconcious level much more details then councusly looking at the object.
Thanks- the video was useful, especially the "light tent"- and cut piece to block
light .This might not be perfect or entirely professional, but it is a good, quite easy, and inexpensive set up

Robert's most useful comment was when he said "Beautiful, totally in focus"
Other that being in focus he didn't achieve much more than an eBay photo.
