Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-Minnesota) is the leader of the Tea Party Caucus. Her reputation as a no-nonsense conservative and a solid wall of opposition to President Barack Obama's policies has generated a fair amount of controversy.

Bachmann is mentioned as a potential 2012 Republican presidential candidate.

In January 2011, Bachmann delivered the first Tea Party Response.

In 2008, on the Chris Matthews program Hardball, Bachmann went into a rant about then candidate Obama having Anti-American views and wanted investigations into those who rally against traditional conservative values.

My question to those watching, do you think buyer's remorse when Republicans maintain these extreme spending cuts and a grip over a supposedly grassroot Tea Party Movement?

She answers every question very well. Some people honestly don't know how to process verbal conversations, must be why their demos and libs. She did good with that interview, obviously she couldn't say yes to the anti American question but she did using the word concerned, wherein as the direction Obama is taking this country. I just want people to know that for the most part Minnesota is a beautiful and tolerant state, even in their very rural, very caucasian areas. I spent a month in southern Minnesota last summer, and I was the WHOLE of the African and Native American population where ever I went. I was treated with respect and kindness by all who I encountered. I even saw a rainbow flag flying outside of a coffee house in one of their large towns. This woman does that state no justice.
