well. i noticed now that external and internal hdd are the same price. all i noticed is only a few bucks different. nowadays to build an external hdd yourself is even more expensive cuz you gotta buy the enclosure. but the built one don't and same price.
I just ensure usb slot on the "world edition" devices is not available to connect. Others (which don't support WLan) may can I guess. btw, u could buy the hdd box only and then install a hard drive into it. that's much cheaper and work very well.
hm... so the only way to use the hdd is via the router? what a bad idea. they should at least include the basic connection "USB", alone with new way "WLan"... i might not buy it. i mean via router is an good idea, but not without USB. maybe 2TB would be better. about $220
