Resident Evil 5 Chapter 5-3 Wesker on Professional (Solo)

The hardest part of this boss fight is the AI of Sheva. In most attempts either Wesker or Jill will shoot her. You can't improve the AI, so you have to use a little trick. What you need is a Rocket Launcher with infinite ammo.

Immediately save the game and leave to the title screen when the fight begins. Then remove all weapons from Sheva and give Chris just the Rocket Launcher. Fill up the remaining item slots with first aid sprays.

Then load your game. Activate the map and run up stairs on the right. Make sure Sheva and Wesker both follow you up the stairs. On the upper floor level run to the last pillar at the and of the corridor. Turn 180 degrees. The pillar, now on your left, should protect you from bullets Jill may shoot at you. Make sure Sheva is also behind the pillar.

The first rocket should hit the wall when Wesker is on top of the stairs. This way both Wesker and Chris face the same direction, which means Chris is facing Wesker's back. This way the splash damage of the rocket will cause damage to Wesker. Wesker must not reach the upper floor, or he will gain invincibility status and pass your rockets!

BTW, I even got an S Rank for accuracy with this method.

You have to be a little bit lucky, because Wesker has to follow you up the stairs and Jill must stay down. If either Jill or Wesker decide to go elsewhere from the start, quit the game and reload.

I recommend staying on the upper floor to defeat Jill. You don't need any weapon for her.

To totally disprove the bullshit unlimited roket launcher theory. I beat wesker, on solo, with one rocket and one magnum round.

When the level starts run to the metal door. Youll be told its locked, move away and that should queue the cutscene. Once through run like hell. Sheva will run off and do her own thing. I caught Wesker from behind out in the main area. Fire the rocket, he'll catch it. Shoot the rocket and daze him. One more round from the magnum and it was level done.

i want to see this done without the rocket launcher, or infinite ammo, just regular weapons. I have no money to buy anything and im stuck with decent weapons..

your strategy doesn't work and this is bullshit. I'm not dying but no matter if my partner is the AI or another person they keep dying. I myself have died like once on this but the other dumbasses keep dying repeatedly.

if u want a real challenge and need to vent some frustration, try beating wesker on pro mode solo with no help from rockets, unlimited ammo, or any other cheats. i have never yelled so much at a video game character as i did with sheva...
