My own take on the Rube Goldberg machine idea (with inspiration from the Honda advert) made for my final moving image piece ever! Uses 3ds max along with its built in Havoc physics engine, enjoy!

  • wow, was all of that done using havoc, if so could ya give me a few pointers cause i always have trouble with it

  • Its really a mix of Havoc and keyframing. You got to take a lot of time fiddling with the settings to get something to look real, theres actually a load of bad animation in my peice but ive framed the camera to avoid it. The best thing to have is a fast computer and a lot of time, but first and foremost, its experimentation with the settings.

  • seems like the gravity and physics take too long to take effect, or a greater effect, otherwise, it was aight.
