We do need to the ten commandment, but if we were so perfect at keeping we would not have needed JC, I am a christian and no one has ever told me that i dont need to keep the ten commandment, I do some but I cant keep them all that is where grace come in, n tell me that there is no condemnation to those who are in christ, "For it is God who is at work in me, both to will and to work for His good pleasure" (2:13).
Peter was under Christ earthly ministry to the Jew and Paul was under the risen Christ's gospel to the Gentiles. There is a difference between the 2 which is why Peter is minister to Jews and Paul to the Gentiles. It is 2 different messages that they taught. When you mix the 2 you wind up with contridiction (seemingly) in the NT scriptures. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Happy studying.
Romans 11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: / He is the one who ministers to the Gentile. On the other hand - Romans 15:8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision [Jews] for the truth of God, to confirm the promises [made] unto the fathers Galatians 2:8 (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)
time period it was written it will help. Jesus never separated the laws, keep that in mind. Paul's ministry was to the Gentiles mainly. He wrote Hebr. but it is to the Jew. Romans - Philomon is for us. Paul write this -1 Corinthians 9:1 Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not ye my work in the Lord? 2 If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord. / Yes Paul saw Christ, it says so.
Like there is no anouncement by Him saying I died for your sins and to cancel out every law but 10. So then you read the book of Acts & find the Jews still keeping the Jewish laws. The feast of Pentecost, dietary, the law of separation, animal sacrifice @ the Jewish temple & so on. So you need to start studying your bible to find out why for yourself. If you keep in mind who is writing the book in the bible you are reading, to who it was written to, & the circumstance or time period ....
Well done video. But. it is riddled w/ verses not in right division of the word. Have you ever considered that Jesus's earthly ministry even after His resurrection was aimed @ the nation of Israel? Yes he taught the Jew to keep the commandments but it wasn't just the ones where God wrote letters on stone with his finger, He taught to keep all 613. So when you read the end parts of the gospels after His resurrection you will notice how He never recanted about keeping any of the commandments.
There is no promise to heirship with Christ Jesus associated with the law at mount Sinai. The law stated do this or else you will die. They didnote Grace and did not have the sanctifier The Comforter to sanctify them.
In short there was no rehab program or process for sinners, so everyone under the curse of the law were on death row.
If an addict claims that he follows the law then he is a liar, unless he acknowledges his previous sins and repents and accepts going through the rehabilitation program is he pardoned by Grace of the law giver.
