Wild Magnolias Live in Toronto 2008 Part 1 Handa Wanda

I love these guys. Since 1992-93 when their devastating debut record finally came out on c.d. with bonus tracks, thanks to the Barclay label out of France. The 1973 hunk-o-funk started with a really intense arrangement of this song. Live, the Magnolias perform it heavier than some of the other New Orleans Indian Tribes who break it down further. That first record is hard to find, but the vinyl edition was indeed reissued as well in the 90's. I don't know what I was thinking, tuning the camera on it's side for a few seconds there- at the time, I probably had some fantasy about editing the video and slapping a somewhat better audio track on... one day, maybe....
