For the JOY set before Him, Jesus willingly allowed them to whip Him, beat Him with fists, smash a crown of thorns on His sinless head. Blood spurts out as nails go through flesh, blood & nerves, Then they kill HIM. WHY did HE do it? FOR THE JOY of knowing HE had just rescued YOU from having to spend a living death of torment in a lake of fire. HE was willing to endure pain and humiliation for YOU. That's why, Here I am to worship. Here I am to bow down. Thank YOU, Lord Jesus.

From everything that I've experienced, god is willing to take anyone in any way, shape, or form. Do you feel better when you go to church? A thing that has reinvigorated my faith is the simple fact that all of the simple stresses in life that push you away are completely pointless, valueless compared to how important your relationship with him is, not to mention that god draws us to experience greater love for others and true freedom when we're closer to him.
