Rishi welcomes Ram, Laxman & Sita & introduces them to his wife Anusuya, she is very much impressed by Sita and takes her Husbands permission to take Sita with her. Sita goes with her. She gives Sita a beautiful jewellry and clothes and says Ram will be too happy to see her in these dresses as they will never get old.
Rishi Atre tells Ram that there are many Rakshas, who became the cause of Rishis death, before you start your journey, help these Rishies and make them fearless of death. Ram takes his leave. Many demons are attacking the rishis in the jungle & disguise themselves as rishis to trouble them. When they see Ram, they run away. Ram is baffled to see the rishis flee away. Then the demons appear in their actual form & Ram detroys them.
Khardushan (the two brothers) come to know that Ram, Laxman & Sita are passing through the jungle, so they call for Viraadh (rakshas) to destroy them.

  • @teenqueen192 I also love the prayers, especially the one near the end! I wonder if the sound tracks are available, I would be soo greatful!! :)

  • Jai Rama Rama, Jai Siya Siya, Jai Lakhan Lakhan! :) (L) Thank you soo much for uploading these videos. I absolutely love watching and listening to the epic Ramayan. It makes me soo happy, words cannot even explain! Thank you!

  • @speakingdragons Thanks for explaining. I will look up for those terms ( Pishacha (pret), Danavas, Rakshasas ).

  • continue....

Historically ...Rakshasas could be a non aryan tribe of ancient india.

  • @ahantu Asura is a general tern which is used to denote the negative (opposite) aspect of "Sura" which means devtas. Asuras can be subdivided between Pishacha (pret), Danavas, Rakshasas. Pishachas are the unsatisfied souls of people who are dead. They are not always bad. Danavas are the son of Rishi Kashyap from his wife Danu. It is some danavas and not rakshasas who actually look like zombie ex "mahishasura". Rakshasas according to mythology are again son of Kashyap rishi from his wife "Diti".

  • How many types of Demon in Hinduism ? Those demons that look like zombie, what kind of demon are those? They seem to look like Preta (or Hungry Ghost) .... Can anyone please explain to me ?

  • Question: When the subtitle means Demon, how different is it Demon and Asura ?
