Sensational! It is worthwhile to spend one minute to watch this clip.
This video shows how leadership & solidarity at the right time can make a
great difference to help a human being.
The scene was a NBA game where the Blazers played the Mavericks.
The girl, only 13 years old, won a prize to sing "Star
Spangled Banner" (the hymn of the USA) that is sung before each league game
by tradition.
More than twenty thousand people are in the stadium, she suddenly get stage
fright and her arm starts to shake and she forgets the letters!!!!!
Only 13 years. Alone, there in the middle, before all the audience... the
public begins a mix of LAUGHTERS and BOOS!!!
Suddenly, Maurice "Mó" Cheeks (a former-player of the League that at that
time was the coach of the Blazers) appear by her side, he puts his hand on
her shoulder, and begins to sing... sees the public's reaction.
Sensacional !
treme, ela engasga, esquece a letra ... e DEU BRANCO !!!!!
Apenas 13 anos.
a cantar...veja a reação do público.

If you guys remember Mo Cheeks had public speaking problems.1987 he got up with Julius Erving to say a few words about the soon to be retired Doc.He was nervous and fumbled his words,Doc helped him through it and here he is years later,"Paying it Forward".Very Classy!

Studies show that people fear public speaking more than death and singing in front of 20,000 has got to be just a little bit worse.
