  • axis462 I appreciate and agree with some of what your said, however, I'd rather have a person who has proven their loyalty to America than someone who reeks of loyalty to other nations and religions, regardless of how educated they are.

  • IMblackIMwhite, you are 100% CORRECT. In dark and dangerous times such as these, we CANNOT AFFORD to have people of "questionable loyalty" to the US in high office. ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE PROVEN THEIR LOYALTY AS WAR VETERANS SHOULD BE PRESIDENT. My God, just look at what happened to the US the last time we had a bunch of sleazy draft-dodging cowards in office: George W Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz. And now these liberal scumbags are up to their same old tricks AGAIN! Lib scum!

  • Piper is still missing alot of school; I can't believe they didn't provide a tutor for Piper so that it would be easier to catch up with her work. I hope Palin addresses the situation differently now; she should stop using her children as props, but a growing child. Basic parental duties Sarah, basic; you have 5 now you should know that by now woman!

  • I wish someone would interview her asking about how she could condone the aerial hunting of endangered species. I hate Sarah Palin with a burning passion and can be counted on to spread awareness of her backwards ways of managing natural resources.

  • i think she is really cool, being a hockey mom and the governor of alaska, but NOT A VP, and not a president!!!

  • fuck i didnt think the first dude could talk

    with that howdy dowdy head

  • (continued) Emmons had been city librarian for seven years and was well liked. After a wave of public support for her, Palin relented and let Emmons keep her job. (Rindi White, Anchorage Daily News Sept. 5. 2008)

  • According to news coverage at the time, the librarian said she would definitely not be all right with it. A few months later, the librarian, Mary Ellen Emmons, got a letter from Palin telling her she was going to be fired. The censorship issue was not mentioned as a reason for the firing. The letter just said the new mayor felt Emmons didn't fully support her and had to go.

  • Palin is s liar!

This book list was compiled latter by Palin supporters to discredit the original story.

In December 1996, Emmons told her hometown newspaper, the Frontiersman, that Palin (then Mayor) three times asked her -- starting before she was sworn in -- about possibly removing objectionable books from the library if the need arose.

Emmons told the Frontiersman she flatly refused to consider any kind of censorship. (continued)

  • I could hear the banjos in the background.

  • Gee lets interview these dim-wits while they make food in the kitchen.

  • Hmmm - so Matt Lauer, part of the mainstream media. If he so one sided why was this interview so balanced. Interesting with her daughter. Not one positive answer about campaigning until her mum refers to her as "sister" and then she says she'd like to do it again. I can't thing campaigning is any fun for anyone.
