Here's a video for foks who need more help setting up the button/pad config in DTXMania using only 4 pads. If you are using the Ions w/ Glovepie, this will also show you how to set up your bass pedal (the Glovepie script doesn't set it up for you) .
Please rate the video if it's helpful...that way it will show up better in the YT search results.

In case you're unfamiliar, DTXMania is a free program you can play with edrums, a keyboard, or a game controller. Download here (ver. 67b is recommended):

Create a folder in your DTXMania directory named "DTXFiles", and place your simfile/song folders in there. Each song will have its own folder, and they come that way when you download, them, so simply copy and paste, or unzip the simfile directly to your DTXFiles folder.

About the lane colors:
If you're curious about why my lanes are colored funnily, it's because I reskinned it to match the colors on the Rock Band drums, which are what I use (Ions). If you want to learn more about this or download my skins, visit my page about it:

Ok, I've witnessed the program crashing if you have two RB kits hooked up and I've alleviated that by waiting until it boots up to plug in the second. However, while the computer recognizes the second pad and all the drivers have been downloaded, I can't get it to configure. When I hit the drum to assign it, it's as if it's not recognized. Given the amount of videos featuring 2 kits, I'm wondering what might be wrong with my setup. Any suggestions?

@Cybershadow84 I believe you may have to set up the second drumset as keyboard input, jusing Joy2Key or something like that. It's been a while since I had to do it, but that sounds right.

Perhaps you can help me out.
I have a RB1 guitar, and I would like to use it in DTXMania. I can get everything to work, except for the pick. My question to you is; is it possible to get the pick to work on DTXMania with a RB1 guitar.
If you don't know, that's fine. I guess I'll just use the + and - buttons as a pick for now...

@JohnRichard1991 Hey there. If you look at the last link in my video description, I have instructions on how to use the guitar, and I even included a joy2key w./setup that's already configured for it. It even supports the tilt function for the guitar. I can't remember what the pick specifically does, but I know it works. Was it a d-pad? Lemme know if you still need help.

@Billkwando I guess I forgot to mention that I'm using a guitar made for the Wii. I tried it out and the pick worked, but not anything else. I fooled around with it forever, and now everything else works. I can give or tell if you want to see what did to it.

@JohnRichard1991 Oh yeah, if you can explain it well enough I'll add it to the page for the Wii folks. If you have a joy2key profile feel free to email it to me. Thanks!
Glad you got it working! :)

@Billkwando I should mention that I got the DTXMania creators to support the POV hat, so guitars should just be plug & play now.
