i just bought an iPod Touch and need a case. In my honest opinion they are price gouging completely with this crap. For $20 or whatever we should get 10 cases in different colors. It's just a hunk of plastic, silicone etc... junk basically. Yet they know people are willing to pay for the crap.
If people stopped paying so much they'd slash the prices to maybe $1.00 per case

I asked the same thing but its true.I think if it has a metalic coating.I think it bounces signals away if theres any kind of metals,IDK.You can try a google search, also some reviews on Amazon.

NO WAAY on the Case Mate.I had that exact same case and it blocks reception by up to two bars.I have the Ultra Case and your right its not gonna protect from drops but I hate bulky cases.Thats all there is is bulky or thin.
