Its a commercial.... So are you saying everyone should use a hobo as a spokesperson? They don't HAVE to use one, and yes, SOME do their own research, and it INFORMS everyone that sees this commercial that they have this product. If you never hear about a special at Pizza Hut, how are you going to use it? You can't, because you don't know of it, its called promotion.

I find it pathetic of Sony because they had to use celebrities to convince consumers that they offer point and shoot cameras that are competitive in the marketplace. Not all consumers are dumb, some actually do their own research before getting one.

Got to make money some how. They arn't going to make sales just by making a commercial that says "Hey buy this camera"
