'Not my Name' Episode 12:

-A WEEK LATER- (Friday)
[Emilys POV]

Its been a week of dating Shane.
And its been amazing.
Hes so sweet and caring!
Its been a little weird too, like some of the popular girls give me weird looks, as if to say 'why did he pick her?'
And some of the popular guys are checking me out, which is also weird yet flattering.
Of course, Shane doesnt like that.
Did I not only have my first date, I had my first kiss.
It was wednesday night, and we were at the park, sitting on a bench, watching the stars.
"look! the big dipper!" I said point up at the cloud free sky.
"the little dipper!" he said point over the other way.
We laughed and sat in the silence.
Not an awkward silence, just a calm silence.
"Em?" he said.
I moved my eyes from the starry sky to his face.
His green eyed, clear skinned, handsome face.
He leaned in towards me, and I did the same.
It was perfect.

I sat in the newspaper room, listening to Beth, the papers editor, drown on about us needing to finish up out pieces before the newspaper comes out monday.
Everyone was only half listening, mostly just working.
I was finishing up the pictures I took of the baseball game our team won tuesday.
"Emily!" I jumped and then looked up, Beth was standing next to my desk.
"hows the layout for page 3 going?" she asked, looking down at my work so far.
"almost done" I said looking back down at the paper.
"good, good" she said, then sat down in the chair next to me, "I need to ask you a favor"
I looked up, "shoot"
"I need you to take Paige's place"
"what?! Paige is an amazing co-editor! You cant do that to her!"
Beth burst out laughing, "no! Paige is sick, and she needs to review a concert tomorrow, and she cant"
"oh, why me?"
"I don't know, she suggested you, and I though you could handle it"
"yeah totally, im there!"
she smiled, "good, heres your tickets. Make sure to get good pictures to choose from also"
I nodded and smiled as she walked away.
I looked down at the ticket to see that band.
It read, 'JONAS BROTHERS'
