I just ordered and received my AEM SRI, I have an 01 Integra GS with a B18B nonvtec motor and its my daily driver. So I'm not going to be driving in the 5k rpm range and up. I hear this intake is designed for that. So I'm not sure if this is right for my motor. It was affordable and supposedly the right one for my car. Maybe they didnt take into account which motor, whether non-vtec or vtec, and what application, such as daily driving.. Hopefully it is good in the lower rpm range

@Flossyjoshy this intake will let your engine breath in more air, resulting in more horsepower and torque across the rev band, and better throttle response. Many of our customers also love the sound this intake makes. If you'd like to read their reviews, click on the 1st link in the video description. This will take you to the AEM intake product page on our site. Then select your vehicle and the 1996 Honda Civic reviews will sort to the top.

@orkeyadam1 Yes, cold air intakes usually make a little extra noise from under the hood. Most people love the sound they make. :)

@AutoAnything i mean like does a short air intake make a nice noise just as good as a cold air intake

@orkeyadam1 yeah, the short ram might be a little quieter than a cold air intake, but they should sound very similar.
