@cmonty25 Its caled pop corning. Cutting off some dead fan leaves at the bottom is the way to go for his setup trust me. he could replant them with soil up to where the next node is, and roots will shoot out of the stalk and it will be a 10 times better plant.

nice setup dude, ive grown off a 23watt cfl before and i currently have 1 going. you can move the light closer to stop the spacing those things put off no heat so you can get them less than a inch away for best results.

@concretejunk fan leaves are NEVER supposed to be trimmed before flowering because they store ALL THE FOOD that will go into the buds. LMFAO! DO SOME RESEARCH! trimming your leaves reduces food and nutrients that will go into your buds which will GREATLY REDUCE YIELD! if you are flowering and a fan leaf is blocking the quit a bit of light from hitting a lower bud then by all means trim that fucker... but in this stage unless there is mold DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!

glass pots n plastic haha are those the ones that were male? i understand though my first was bagseed and i burned her so bad it took forever to grow and i started out using the sun too.. i had some supposed organic nutes from home depot.. bonnies... the baby plant company... well my tomatos liked it but it wasnt a good mix for my weed.. i might have used like 4 times more than i should have idk. nice job with the reflector here. good cfl set u have
