Going to the New Year Fireworks Sydney Harbour 2010 [HD] (Brasileiro na Australia)

It is 2010 in Australia! Although I worked until 23:00 on 31 December, I still made it to Circular Quay to watch the 2010 fireworks at the Sydney Harbour Bridge, one of the biggest New Year party in the world, with New York and London! This video is more interesting than the one from Channel 10, because I go in the middle of the people trying to find a spot to watch the fireworks (and I show a bit of the 21:00 fireworks)! Sorry to bother you with my accent, but if I spoke only in Portuguese, the video wouldnt be watched in Australia and other English speaking countries. And for me it`s easier and quicker to translate from English to Portuguese than the other way around.

But that is how things work, man... a foreigner will always have a foreign accent...

But to say that, I guess you dont have a different accent when speaking another language, right?

Vc já pensou em entrevistar alguns jovens nas ruas de sydney ?

Opa, Ramalho! Blz?

A diferenca no ingles se restringe quase q a entonacao apenas. Achava o sotaque australiano engrassado (agora ja me acostumei). Algumas palavras eles absorveram do ingles americano devido a proximidade dos dois paises desde a segunda guerra mundial, mas ainda assim o ingles (especialmente escrito) se aproxima mais do britanico.

Sera q essa camera q uso nao foi lancada no Brasil? Ela nao eh mais um modelo novo, ja existe mais modernas. Tenta na internet!

Legal q vc gostou do video! Vinha fazendo aquela sere de filmes do tour em Sydney sem comentar nada pq eu estava numa posicao mais de ouvir e aprender mesmo, entao deixei apenas a narracao do guia. Mas ja tou com umas ideias novas... inclusive talvez eu faca um vlog voltado pros brasileiros que pensam em morar na Australia, com informacoes uteis e curiosidades do ponto de vista de outro brasuca. Seria algo diferente dos meus videos, so nao sei se vai funcionar...

It is not a camcorder. It is a Sansung WB500. It takes pictures at 10.2MP and has a 10X zoom. It makes movies at True HD (MP4) 1920 x 1080 Widescreen, but this film I saved at 720 x 480, wich is also HD anyway. I like it because I carry only one compact camera (at an affordable price) for both pictures and movies. You can have a look at the last few movies on my channel, they are True HD 1920 x 1080.
