Hey, ever heard of 30 Hour Famine? It's through World Vision (and I agree, they are awesome) and you fast for 30 hours to raise money and awareness about world hunger. I'm planning one right now and it is going to be the highlight (or one of them) of my spring. :P

@Nanalew I'm going to be honest...I have only watched a few of your videos but you are already one of my favorite youtubers! It is easy to tell you're a very intelligent and kind person, and the random stuff you say is hilarious. Keep it up, you're awesome :)

@themeelwoot On the contrary, World Vision does NOT "push" religion on other communities.

I 'lauve' vanilla milkshake poptarts!!

@Nanalew That's even worse than forcing their belief on them...they're only helping countries who share their own views.

YOU would be a great best friend who agrees??

It looks like you're the one that needs religion. Have you noticed how the United States is going down fast...heading into the cesspool? It's because of our anti-Christian liberal federally mandated education system. Over the last 20 years kids are being programed to think a certain way starting in kindergarden through college. 99.9% of college professors are left-winged libs.
You need a strong willed mind to see what's happening to you and not be part of the sheeple.

best part was the 'whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaa' :)
The one thing I don't like about World Vision is that it's not secular. Personally, I don't support the idea of a charity organization pushing foreign religion in the vulnerable communities they aid (even if they don't "proselytize").
Otherwise, I'm in favour of what they do. :D
DFTBA!

@themeelwoot What's interesting is a lot of the countries they work in (like Zambia, where I went) are extremely Christian countries -- moreso than North America. So they don't feel badgered at all. And WV is very good at not forcing people to believe anything. Their beliefs dictate their actions and their treatment of others and that's why they are there in first place.
