Beethoven's 6th is my personal favorite, and this is simply an exceptional performance! The BPO renders a deeply moving, powerful arrangement! Karajan is a treat to watch, a Master among masters! Too bad the director of the film did not possess the same skills, for the silly camerawork is not the fault of the camera crew, but of the director, just as each member of the BPO is only as grand as the conductor! Bravo to the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra & Herbert Von Karajan!
