@Antiks72 Actually it's not false. You're right that WW2 was the last time we legally deployed to combat. Police Action is a political term to skirt the issue. Any time you engage another country with any combat actions, it's an act of war. Every war since WW2 was illegal. And they do teach that "excuse" even today. I should know, I served 5 years in the Air Force. You are legally bound under the UCMJ to disobey any unlawful order.
