You need to have solid, brass nuts to fire that; & I mean correctly. Not that this guy didn't, but they weren't too aware of it's power & of each other. When you shoot a 4B you're supposed to let yourself go with the kick; even if that means you have to "jog" a few paces backwards; you definitely shouldn't resist. You also need those same brass nuts to use the 4 Bore for what it's really designed for; hunting the most dangerous game (yes it's a pun!) Hunting rhinos & such ain't no joke.

I saw a 4 bore rifle many years ago of the type once used in Africa for Elephants, Rhino, Hippos and such. Printed on its case was the warning "Do not fire more than 5 times daily, as this may be hazardous to your health.
